Bambarakanda Falls

                             Bambarakanda Falls is the tallest  waterfall in Sri Lanka. Accordingly, Sri Lanka is ranked 299th among the tallest waterfalls in the world.Its height is 263 meters.Also, the beauty of this waterfall is very popular among tourists not only in Sri Lanka but all over the world.This waterfall is also known as "Bambarakele FaFalls" It is formed by a small stream which is a tributary of the Walawe River.

                               There are platforms made of cement benches for viewing this waterfall.The beauty of this waterfall can be seen from that platform.This place is perfect for bathing like other streams in Sri Lanka.But this waterfall is much deeper near the falls.Therefore, it is important to avoid going to that place.There are two other beautiful waterfalls near this waterfall.Namely Lanka Falls and Yalatenna Falls.also experience the beauty of these two waterfalls on this Bambarakanda trek.
